About as subtle as a stop sign, but isn’t that the point…

Not good. Don’t know what’s gotten into me lately where I’m only watching flops. Forget B movies, I’m on D movies. Get me out of here!

The only reason I put this on was because I wanted something with Mia Kirshner that wasn’t The L Word. Maybe I should’ve gone with Brian de Palma’s version of The Black Dahlia murder case. Surely that would’ve been bad but not this bad.

Let’s talk about what worked and what didn’t.

For one, I hate poop humor in general but the poop jokes here were particularly egregious. Embarrassing.

I’m a sucker for John Hughes and other 80s teen movies so I did appreciate all the nods and homages. Well, almost all of em. Hughes was definitely a fucking racist, let’s say it how it is. I get that Not Another Teen Movie is supposed to be satirizing all the old teen movies tropes but they’re clearly not taking any moral stances against it since they’re willing to dish out more of the same.

Loved every Cruel Intentions reference. Thank god they had Mia making out with an old lady. It was hot. I don’t even care if it was supposed to be played for laughs. Call me a lesbian pervert I don’t CARE. Saving grace of this fucking movie.

I was hooting and hollering when Molly Ringwald made an appearance at the end. The queen herself! Looking absolutely killer with the chicest pixie cut (which is absolutely going to be my new hair inspo).
