Miley Cyrus is that bitch. She’s always been that bitch. Part of it is that you can so clearly tell that every Disney exec behind the scenes is gritting their teeth and forcing a stressed smile the whole time she’s around. The woman doesn’t care what anyone thinks! A serious superpower. A true Sagittarius.

When Miley was talking about how Dolly Parton advised her to promote the special before it was official as a way to speak it into existence, something broke in my brain. That’s such good advice. I always do the exact opposite and then I end up losing all my excitement along the way. People need hype! People need 20 year Anniversary reunions between casts of the old shows they love! Wait- did I say reunion? Whoops, I meant a random interview with a podcast host, of course. Listen… I thought it was structured a little oddly, but hey. I guess this is what we get from opportunistic (and maybe a little haphazardous…) planning. Even so, I’m glad Selena Gomez showed up.
