Clueless (1995)

Clueless is one of those movies that sounds like it would be 100% my vibe but somehow just isn’t. It’s obviously a 90s classic anyways so don’t take what I’m saying too seriously. I just want more from it. Clueless is way too bubblegum.

Here’s my theory: there’s weird clash between Valley girl culture and the gay scene that’s painted over by the shallow facade of vocal fry. Valley girl voice is different from a fagcent! But sometimes the wires cross in a way that almost tricks you into thinking otherwise.

You can almost illustrate this like the Kinsey scale:

6- Exclusively homosexual

4- Mostly homosexual, but more than slightly Valley
