Ursula Georgi, a mixed race woman, excluded and ostracized by her peers, back for a revenge written in the stars. It would’ve been great if they let an Asian actress play the lead instead of some white lady! Oh, the 1930s. This actually felt like a very modern piece of storytelling. The scenes were short and snappy, and the transitions reminded me of the distinct editing style that swarms TikTok today. Seriously, the 2020s are soooo 1930s. Even aesthetically, the skinny, flat brow is so hot right now! I would love to see someone remake this film today. Oh god, Anna Biller would eat it up.

Anyway, mercury is retrograde and I hope I’ll make it to Christmas alive. Virgo in its relationship to my first house indicates a fit of melancholy, following worry and fear…
