Literally the most momcore movie ever produced. On the phone with your mom and unsure of where to take the conversation? Bring in the sheep. Guarantee she will love you for it. Either she’s already seen it and loved it (likely), hasn’t heard of it and welcomes the recommendation (very likely), or you can make plans to watch it with her and really make her day.

Surrreeee, this was totally my cup of tea. But tea always gives me a stomachache. The Sheep Detectives was sweet, but just like with the tannins in tea, you lose me with all the dry bits. I think voice acting is a beautiful thing! When paired with animation. Or real footage. Most CGI fails to excite me, and so do voice acting performances by regular-degular screen actors. It never lives up to any hype. In fact, it often actively detracts from the project! We should’ve had sillier sheep. Imagine my horror when I looked up the cast about 25 minutes into the film and saw two of my GOATs playing some of the most lackluster sheep I’ve ever seen. Julia Louis-Dreyfus….Bryan Cranston…… This was not my Elaine! This was not my Dr. Tim Whatley or my Hal! Maybe it was Walter White. I wouldn’t know. Breaking Bad isn’t really my thing.
